About 15-20 years ago, I was at a Rock ‘n’ Roll dance and this guy came up to me and said “Hello Dan”! I said, “Hello, do you know me?” He replied “I’m Manny, I knew you back when the Nags Head was going, maybe you don’t recognise me, my hair was longer then!” Since then of course, we would see each other at the dances, chat some, watch him Bop like we used to. I’d always get a smile out of him. Loved his hairstyle, real 50’s Teddy Boy style, fabulous. It was a long-standing joke between us both, that I couldn’t remember him back then – and I still can’t, but I will remember the Manny that re-introduced himself those 15-20 years ago and I am richer for that.
